 An Austin legend, by way of Lubbock and his native Houston, Cory Morrow has been a consistent fixture on the Texas Country scene – establishing himself as a pioneer of the growth of the Lone Star State’s brand of Country music in the past decade.Now married and actively touring with a new band, with a renewed outlook on his life and career, Cory is set to release the latest volume of Red Dirt poetry in his musical tapestry. His latest full-length album, Brand New Me is a reflection on his musical past – Brand New Me showcases the “brand new” artist that is Cory Morrow.

SAHARA SMITH LIVE AT WATERLOO WED. SEPT. 8th AT 5pm
Celebrating the release of her new album, "Myth of the Heart"...
 Sahara's eclectic music taste ranges from bluegrass jams to Simon and Garfunkel to Tegan and Sara, drawing a little bit of influence from all. She is a self-proclaimed indie-folk artist with a voice that is raspy yet smooth, and lyrics that are drawn from her own life experiences. As she considers herself first and foremost a songrwiter, Smith wants her listeners to have something to connect to with the songs she writes. Her sound best resembles a mixture of the soulful folk melodies of Jewel with the soothing vocals of Norah Jones.
AUTOLUX LIVE AT WATERLOO THURS. SEPT. 9th AT 5pm
 Autolux produced Transit Transit themselves with Edwards serving as engineer. It was recorded in the band's studio, Space 23, located near downtown Los Angeles. There is a notable sonic progression throughout Transit Transit: vintage synthesizers and manipulated ambience glue central song components together, several tracks are built around piano, all three members take turns with lead vocals, harmonies are abundant, and there is even a bit of trumpet. Ultimately, Transit Transit is propelled by its individual members' strengths, coalescing into beautiful, complex songs.

Extended happy hour till 8pm, BYOV (Bring Your Own Vinyl) follows, so bring your favorite albums to share. They will be spinning your records on the patio after Lounge & Listen!
 As on past efforts, vocal duties are split between Deb and Steve, with the former taking much of the spotlight. The lite rock of “When You Go Away” and “Hope Tomorrow” will have heads bopping and “I Was Made For Sunny Days” has a sunny, ‘60s pop electric guitar glow. On the fantastic “They’re In Love, Where Am I?” Deb channels Nina Gordon, singing a wistful ode to the end of her world over gentle acoustic guitar finger picking, subtle orchestral swells, and heartbreaking vibraphone.
